A HIGH-ENERGY, GENRE-BENDING EXPERIENCE

NiiON, a classical musician of over 20 years, began DJing after developing vocal nodules, desperately craving another creative outlet. They grew quickly in the Boston area— in under a year, they went from playing empty rooms to selling out 1100-person shows. After graduating from Harvard in 2024, NiiON moved back home to Austin and immediately made waves, winning DJ competitions against hundreds of applicants and closing for the biggest event groups in the city. 

NiiON plays music that, in their words, "scares the hoes"—a playful phrase they use to describe their high-energy, genre-blending sets that stand apart from the mainstream. Whether spinning Trap, House, Melodic Bass, Techno, DnB, or (literally) anything in between, NiiON enjoys the challenge of trying to include something for everyone. NiiON captivates audiences with a balance of push-and-pull inspired by the dynamic range of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra: the loud, exciting moments are only as good as their milder, more tasteful counterparts. NiiON's classical background and highly trained ear let them execute polished transitions and technical maneuvers with ease, allowing the music to truly shine. 

Ultimately, NiiON wants to give audiences the same life-changing moments they once had in the crowd—because that’s what music is all about.
