A HIGH-ENERGY, GENRE-BENDING EXPERIENCE

NiiON, a classical musician of over 20 years, began DJing after a vocal injury left them craving another creative outlet. In under a year, they went from playing empty rooms to selling out 1100-person shows in the Boston area. After graduating from Harvard in 2024, NiiON moved back home to Austin and immediately made waves, winning DJ competitions against hundreds of applicants and playing for the biggest event groups in the city.

NiiON plays music that, in their words, "scares the hoes"—a playful phrase they use to describe their high-energy, genre-blending sets that stand apart from the mainstream. They enjoy pulling from Bass House, Trap, Techno, Electronica, and anything with hard, gritty sounds that turn the dancefloor into a sauna. NiiON's delicate balance of push-and-pull inspired by the dynamic range of professional orchestras and infectious stage presence captivate a wide range of audiences, whether they're headlining on the IYKYK rooftop or setting the stage for touring artists at Kingdom.
