Ever since she could walk and talk, Kay Cote was singing and dancing -- inspired by watching Michael Jackson and Liberace from the age of three. Kay Cote is a dynamic vocalist, podcast host, and multifaceted entertainer based in Austin, Texas. As the founder and producer of AMPEDCast, a podcast launched in January 2024, Kay has created a vibrant platform for amplifying the voices of artists, creatives, and industry leaders. Her monthly live event, AMPEDCast Sessions, has quickly become a go-to gathering in Austin’s cultural landscape—providing a stage where meaningful conversations and creative energy thrive.

In addition to podcasting, Kay is a seasoned emcee and host, bringing warmth, charisma, and polish to every stage she steps on. From executive dinner parties to arts-focused galas and music industry events, she leads with intention, professionalism, and a deep love for connection. Her notable interviews include Laidback Luke, Linney, Alex M.O.R.P.H., and Oscar-winning director Bill Guttentag.

Kay’s versatility extends into her role as a vocalist, collaborating with electronic music producers to craft soulful, high-impact vocals for dance music. With a background in both live performance and event production, she bridges the creative and professional realms with ease. She also has experience in commercial and film acting—having appeared as a featured extra in a variety of national commercials and in the 2022 feature film Tankhouse.
